The Phantom III was the first Rolls-Royce model mounted with a V12 engine. The V12 had a displacement of 7.34 liters and packed 180 HP, which gave the Phantom III solid performance with full stability at high speeds of 160 km/h. Its walnut dashboard was made of wood imported from Italy or the United States and was meticulously polished. The seats were upholstered in high quality leather from Denmark and England. The rug which even extended to the interior of the trunk is made of pure wool.
