In 1927, in order to fill up the brand gap between Buick and Cadillac, GM decided to launch a new brand, LaSalle. It was designed by the famous designer Harley Earl and was the first model designed by a professional stylish design team. LaSalle is equipped with a V8 engine and a 3 gear transmission to release 75 HP. Several body styles were available for the customers such as the two-passenger coupe, the four-passenger phaeton, the five-passenger sedan, etc.
